On August 6th, 7th and 8th the Winton Festival of Speed will be running. At least two Club Members Tim Craig and James Begelhole will be competing, and this is a great opportunity to see some great historic and unique vehicles in action!

Our Vice President John Carney is proposing an impromptu social event, where members can attend the event on the Saturday and Sunday staying overnight in Shepparton. John may even have arranged a special guest speaker for the dinner on the Saturday night! :)

This will be great opportunity to socialise with Club Members and take your Club Registered Vehicle for a run. If you are interested in participating please contact John Carney on 0467 067 068 or pac-winton@pakenhamautoclub.org.au

Please note spectator tickets need to be pre-purchased for the event, available here. See you there!

Well done Leon, John and the Grant writing team!

Pakenham Auto Club were recently contacted by

    Jordan Crugnale MP

that we were recipients of the Community Motorsport Program - Infrastructure Program, awarded by the Minister for Community Sport, Ros Spence MP.

This will allow us to install portable electronic timing systems (with LED boards) to streamline timing at our events while using hand-held private channel radios for seamless comms between officials and event control.

Another step Pakenham Auto Club is taking towards becoming the leading grassroots motorsports club in the country, thanks again to all involved!
