Pakenham Auto Club Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of the Pakenham Auto Club Inc

Date:                     Monday, 4^th December 2023

Time:                   7:30pm

Location:             Pine Grove Hotel

A motion will be put to the meeting to adopt new Rules of Incorporation (see below)

The new rules have a number of key advantages:

• They change the Club's financial year to 30 June each year. This alleviates our current problem of jamming an AGM into Dec each year.
• Allows for 'virtual' presence at meetings

The new rules are in accordance with current Consumer Affairs Model Rules with two changes:

• Clause 9: allows for completion of Membership Application on line
• Clause 36(2): quorum at meetings changed from 10% to 5% of membership as per current rules

Please note, the November General Meeting on Monday November 27^th will NOT be held.

Ahead of the AGM, dinner has been booked for 6:30pm – no bookings are necessary.
