Location: Pakenham Auto Club Grounds

Event Details

Entries

  • All entries must be Registered and paid through the Pakenham Auto Club website.

  • Complete the mandatory MA Event Form (see Link below).

  • Entries Close: 10:00 pm, Thursday, 13th February

  • Late Entries: Strictly not accepted

Entry Fees

  • Adult Entry: $40

  • Junior Entry (Ages 12–18): $25

  • Junior Entry with Club Car Hire: $35 (includes an experienced, nominated passenger)

Event Schedule

  • 8:30 AM: Registration | Location: Clubhouse

  • 8:45 AM: Scrutineering (all cars must be checked) | Location: Shed

  • 9:45 AM: Driver Briefing | Location: Clubhouse

  • 10:00 AM: Competition Start | Location: Track

  • 4:00 PM: Event End (no new runs after 4:00 PM)

How to Enter

  1. Register and pay via the Pakenham Auto Club website.

  2. Complete the mandatory MA Event Form.

  3. Ensure all passengers complete the Passenger Ride Entry Form. Wristbands will be provided on the day.

Competition Classes

  • Class A: Standard 2WD Production Cars up to 1600cc

  • Class B: Standard 2WD Production Cars 1601cc to 3000cc

  • Class C: Standard 2WD Production Cars 3001cc and over

  • Class D: Standard 4WD Production Vehicles

  • Class E: Modified 2WD Production Vehicles

  • Class F: Modified 4WD Production Vehicles

  • Class G: Group 4 Vehicles (Motorkhana Specials)

  • Class J1: Juniors (Class A, B, or C vehicles only) *

  • Class J2: Juniors (Class A, B, or C vehicles only) *

  • Class L: Ladies (Class A, B, or C vehicles only)

Juniors are defined as those aged 12–18 as of 1st January 2025.

  • J1: More than 2 years’ experience

  • J2: 2 or fewer years’ experience

Note: Rally, off-road, and hand-cut tyres are not permitted.

What to Bring

  • A compliant helmet

  • A securely mounted fire extinguisher (check the expiry date)

Driver and Vehicle Requirements

  • Closed-Toe Shoes: Mandatory for all drivers and passengers.

  • Helmets: Required for both drivers and passengers.

  • Loose Items:

    • Remove all loose items from the vehicle (e.g., drinks, phones).

    • No items are permitted in the glove box.

    • Spare tyres must be secured tightly.

  • Roof Racks/Pods: Must be removed before participating.

  • Mobile Phones: Secure phones outside the vehicle or leave them at the timing tower.

General Safety Guidelines

  • Speed Limit: A 10 km/h speed limit applies in all non-competition areas. Be cautious of reversing vehicles and pedestrians.

  • Spectator Areas: Marked by orange barriers. Please stay within these zones.

  • Hot Track: No one is to enter the track without permission from the Clerk of Course.

Officials Needed – Be Part of the Action!

We always need extra hands to help make the event run smoothly. If you're not competing but still want to be involved, consider volunteering as an official! No experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything on the day.

  • Marshalls

  • BBQ Chefs

  • Setup and Pack-up Crew

As a token of our appreciation, all officials will receive free lunch and drinks on the day!

Important Reminders

  • Scrutineering Approval:

    • All vehicles must pass scrutineering before participating.

    • Once approved, an official sticker will be placed on the windscreen.

    • Vehicles without this sticker are not permitted to run.

  • Behavior and Instructions: Unsafe behavior or failure to follow instructions will result in removal from the event.

  • Event Conduct: Let’s ensure a safe and enjoyable day for everyone.

ABOUT

Pakenham Auto Club was founded in 1972 by local motoring enthusiasts keen to enjoy motorsports events in safe, controlled environments.

Sanctioned by Motorsport Australia, Pakenham Auto Club support all motor sport disciplines with active membership involved in rally, motorkhana, historics, hillclimbs and circuit racing events.

The club's grounds in Pakenham provide Melbourne with a high-quality grassroots outlet for motorkhana and khanacross activities.
