Working Bee Sunday 1st December

We have sprung into Spring and the grass is growing like wildfire

We encourage people of all ages to come and help out—there are jobs for everyone!

We kindly ask all volunteers to bring their whipper snippers, lawn mowers and chainsaws to help us get the job done efficiently.

Date: Sunday, 1st December
Time: First arrivals at 8 am
Location: 21 Key Lane Pakenham

BBQ Lunch: 12 pm After a morning of hard work, feast on a delicious BBQ lunch, cooked on our new bbq, generously donated by Bunnings, as a big "thank you" for your efforts.

Jobs to be done around the grounds

  • The area behind the containers cleared – Rubbish removed, Whipper Snipper then mowed
  • Whipper Snipper and mow Motorkhana area
  • Mow & whipper snipper around the house
  • Slash paddock behind the house
  • Dead Trees to be cut down
  • Low spots on Khanacross track filled

Club House Jobs to be done

  • Honour boards to be hung on wall
  • Relocate furniture in house
  • Clean back room and organise
  • Fire extinguisher to be hung on wall
  • Outside power point near BBQ area to be installed (Electrician)

ABOUT

Pakenham Auto Club, established in 1972 by local motoring enthusiasts, is dedicated to promoting motorsports within positive, safe and regulated environments. As an organisation sanctioned by Motorsport Australia, the club continues to support a wide range of motorsport disciplines, with active members participating in Rally, Motorkhana, Historic events, Hillclimbs, Autocross, and circuit racing. Our facilities in Pakenham offer a proper grassroots venue for Motorkhana, Khanacross with a new track currently under construction to support Autocross.
